The hotel offers a great view of the Danube River and is the ideal starting point for excursions to the many sights of the region. Our 32 cosy rooms invite to relax and unwind. Enjoy the culinary pleasures in our à la carte restaurants „Kaminstube“ and „Donaustube“, and on the sunny Danube Terrace with a view of the river.
We also offer free parking in front of the hotel, bicycle rental and a bicycle shelter, Nordic walking sticks to rent, wine tastings and wines for sale at low prices, and a children’s playground, making the hotel an ideal choice for families with children.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 6 years are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for cots.
All children from 7 to 14 years are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds.

The hotel is situated at the western edge of the Wachau Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site, directly on the Danube River and the Danube Bike Path between Passau and Vienna. It is centrally located about halfway between Vienna and Linz, 4 km from the Melk motorway exit and 8 km from the Pöchlarn motorway exit. Melk is 5 km away, Krems 35 km, St. Pölten 23 km and Maria Taferl 10 km.

Coming from Vienna or Linz you travel on motorway A1 and take the exit towards Melk, Donaubrücke Melk - Emmersdorf.
By train:
Using the "Westbahn" (route of the ÖBB leading westwards starting from Vienna via Linz to Salzburg and Passau), train station Melk, Postauto Melk, Emmersdorf.
Using the "Donauuferbahn", train station Krems, Emmersdorf, St. Valentin.
