Area information :
Ballycotton Cliff Walk (4 km) - An invigorating coastal walk, with abundant and interesting plant life, starting and finishing in the scenic East Cork village. A warm autumn day, with the blue sea glittering beneath a cloudless sky, is the perfect time to walk this coastal path.
Jameson Whiskey Centre (15 km) - The Jameson tour commences with an audio-visual presentation. Guests then follow the Old Distillery Trail through various historic and architecturally unique buildings. Each visit culminates in the Jameson Bar with the Irish Whiskey tasting session.
Fota Wildlife Park (15 km) - Established in 1983, it has over 70 species of exotic wildlife in open natural surroundings. Giraffes, zebras, ostrich and antelope roam free, whilst monkeys swing through trees, and kangaroos, macaws and lemurs have complete freedom of the park.
