The pub gets its name from a famous tailor who resided in the area, made famous by the song "Spancill Hill" where the June Fair is held each year.
An all day carvery is also located within Tailor Quigley's Pub. It is ideal for guests or people travelling on the N18 needing snacks, lunch or light evening meals.

As a town known for its richness in history and tradition, Ennis dates back to the 13th century. With the friary's magnificent ruins still at its centre, the town exists as a thriving marketplace known for its narrow, winding streets, colourful shop fronts and pubs
Ennis Friary (2 km) - Founded in 1241 this abbey made Ennis a focal point of western Europe for many years. In 1375 it had no fewer than 350 friars and 600 students. The abbey still contains interesting sculpted tombs, decorative fragments and carvings.
Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (10 km) - Built in 1425 and restored in 1954. Situated on 26 acres, it revives 19th century Ireland. Features include a recreated village street, farmhouses, watermill, a blacksmith's forge, Mac's pub, a church and a display of 19th century farm machinery.
Cliffs of Moher (16 km) - Natural ramparts against the might of the Atlantic, they rise in places to over 215 metres and stretch for almost 8 km. O'Brien's Tower, constructed in the early 19th century as a viewing point for Victorian tourists, is located on Moher's highest cliff.
