Locanda dell’Angelo is in Lunigiana, a countryside blessed with a variety of different landscapes, from the snowed mountain tops of the Alps to the crystalline sea crossed by luxurious yachts. From Locanda dell’ Angelo, you may easily reach celebrated destinations such as Pisa and its leaning tower, the walls of Lucca and the city of Florence in about one hour.
Renowned Italian designer Vico Magistretti conceived the building as a mirror reflecting the white of the Apuan Alps and the blue of the Ligurian sea. In this spirit of refinement and modernity, the interiors of Locanda dell’Angelo are decorated with works of contemporary artists. The ample garden is filled with olive trees and Mediterranean oaks, while the swimming pool in marble, equipped with Jacuzzi, is reminiscent of ancient Roman baths.

By Car:
- Join the Genova-Livorno motorway.
- Exit at Sarzana (if coming from Genova) and follow the signs for Carrara (turning to the right).
- Continue along Variante Aurelia.
- At the first traffic lights, continue straight on. At the 2nd traffic lights, turn right in the direction of Marinella.
- The Locanda dell'Angelo is 5 km away on the right-hand side along Viale XXV Aprile.
- Exit at Carrara (if coming from Florence/Livorno).
- After the exit, turn right towards the sea.
- Continue straight on, and at the 2nd traffic lights, turn right towards Sarzana.
- Continue following the signs for Sarzana; la Locanda dell' Angelo is 900 metres from the sea on your left.
