Today the Hotel Le Capanne is a small country hotel
that offers 16 different rooms and apartments.
In the common rooms at the ground and first level guests
have several facilities at their disposal including 2 large living rooms with fire
places and a TV room.
During Summer our large swimming pool and solarium are open for guests. In addition to the listed facilities the hotel offers private parking and a porch. The reception is open from 7:30 to 23:30. Wake up call services are available as well.
The Hotel is located at only 4 km from the historical centre of Arezzo but nestled in the middle of the countryside among hay and tobacco fields as well as sunflowers.

Hotel Le Capanne is situated 5 km from the city of Arezzo and 400 mt from the one of the most important riding centre in Europe, called Equestrian centre. The hotel has 16 comfortable bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. Internet point, swimming pool, garden, bar, bicycles are at the full disposal of the guests. Beside the hotel there is the restaurant Locanda dei Pilli where you can taste typical tuscan dishes.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

The Restaurant
The restaurant/trattoria “La Locanda dei Pilli” – accommodating about 90 people in three different rooms - is situated beside the Hotel Le Capanne. Our guests can be spoilt with traditional Tuscan dishes, a large variety of homemade pasta, ravioli, tagliatelle and gnocchi, the famous tuscan steak cooked on the fireplace’s grill of the kitchen, genuine ingredients and great quality products from the farmers of the area. Everything will be accompanied by a wide selection of local tuscan wines. The dining rooms of the restaurant are located in the old stables of the house and you can still admire the restored antique manger as well as the whole floor made of stone

- The first Sunday and previous Saturday of every month there are antiques fair.
- A visit to casa Bruschi, the house-museum of the founder of the fair, is to be recommended.
- A lot of monumental churches are located in Arezzo
- The Roman amphitheatre and Medieval Fortress are worth a visit as well.
- Twice a year (in June and September) a medieval tournament takes place: “La Giostra del Saracino”, a jousting session with costume parade.

How to reach us:
By car:
From the railway station of Arezzo: turn left on Viale Piero della Francesca. When at the roundabout take the third exit (Via Baldaccio d’Anghiari) and keep driving to the following roundabout. Take the second exit, drive past the underpass and turn left on Viale Cittadini. Turn right on Via Vittorio Veneto at the second traffic light. Keep driving straight following the sign for Siena and for Zona Industriale “San Zeno”. When at the traffic light of the village of San Zeno keep driving straight and after about 700 meters, turn left toward the “Arezzo Equestrian Center”.
From North: take the A1 south and just outside the exit of Arezzo, turn left following the sign for Arezzo. Turn right at the first crossroad following the sign for “Zona Industriale San Zeno”. Keep driving straight for 2-3 km until you reach a traffic light , turn right and after about 700 meters turn left following the sign for the “Arezzo Equestrian Center”.
From South: take the A1 north and just outside the exit “Monte San Savino”, turn left following the road until the entrance of the Raccordo Siena-Arezzo, then keep driving toward Arezzo. At the end of the RAccordo, turn left at the traffic light and after about 700 meters turn left again following the sign for the “Arezzo Equestrian Center”.
The hotel Le Capanne is located at 400 meters from the Equestrian Center along the white gravel road that starts from there.
