Hotel de Dennen, more than 25 years in Bergen aan Zee. It is impossible to imagine the village without the hotel. Big in a small-scale way, situated in the Parnassia park, 50 meters from the beach en the only property in de surroundings with a heated swimming pool.
The hotel has 23 rooms; 6 standard rooms, 9 deluxe rooms and 8 suites with a separate bedroom. The rooms are modern decorated. TV, (bubble) bath and/or (fitness) shower and toilet are naturally present in every room. There is also a complete equipped kitchen.
Space, peace and quietness are everywhere. The hotel is ideal for various ways of amusement. In the house you can relax at the fire place with a nice cup of coffee or tea. The sea and beach fascinate the whole year long. Cycling and hiking through the extensive nature areas is an impressive experience. But also sports activities are only a stone throw away; golf, tennis and horse riding. The picturesque centre of Bergen is within easy reach. Bergen is a passion. Bergen aan Zee is part of Bergen, Schoorl, Groet and Camperduin up to the municipality of Bergen. Bergen aan Zee itself is entirely enclosed by dunes and the forestry area of Schoorl and the Noord-Hollands Duinreservaat.
The artistic village still attracts artists. They still exhibit their works in the art galleries, the Kunstenaarscentrum (Artists’ Centre) or during one of the art and artistic markets.
In the vicinity: Alkmaar with its monumental city centre, extensive shopping and of course the cheese market. The oldest auction (Broeker Veiling in Broek op Langedijk), the west Frisian market in Schagen; these are only a few examples of the many possibilities in the area.
