The starting point for the Pousada was the restoration of a sixteenth century convent, situated in a valley in Arraiolos - a city that is world-famous for its carpets.
The Pousada is an example of the achievement of perfect harmony between the traditional and modern concepts of Portuguese architecture and a felicitous example of adapting the austerity of a convent to today's standards of comfort. A stay with us is a wonderful excuse to get to know the traditional art of carpet-making.
Cancellation policy :
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 2 to 12 years are charged 15 % of the room stay per night for cots.
All older children or adults are charged 30 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and costs EUR 10.00 per 24 hours.

Travel information :
By Car (from Lisbon):
- From the A6 motorway, exit at Montemor / Arraiolos, towards Arraiolos city centre.
- Before getting to the city centre you will find road signs saying Pousada.
- Follow them and you will find the hotel after 2 km.
