This is the ideal spot from where you can feel free to explore the many features of the Winelands and even farther afield in the Western Cape. We are centrally located within about an hour’s drive away from most attractions.
Cancellation policy :
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 60 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 12 years are welcome.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
ZAR 0.00 service charge per room per night is not included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Food & beverage :
Breakfasts are served overlooking the pool courtyard with the Franschhoek Mountains beyond. This elegant venue with its crisp white table linen, chairs and original artworks, is famous for its generous breakfasts. Concertina doors open up to the outdoors in summer, whilst winter days are warmed by a gas fireplace.

We are located in a unique village called Franschhoek, in the heart of the beautiful Cape Winelands. There is a choice of more than 20 top-class vineyards to choose from for your particular palate, be it a white or a red vintage.
Franschhoek is also known as the culinary centre for gastronomic choice, with some of the top restaurants in the country situated in this region.
Reservations are a must, which your hosts will gladly organise for you in advance.
Wine tasting tours on bicycle, horseback or by transport can also be arranged.
Travel information :
By Car (from Cape Town International Airport):
- Follow the signs to the N2 and Somerset West.
- At exit 33, turn left to Stellenbosch on the R310 (Baden Powell).
- Follow the R310 as it winds into and through Stellenbosch.
- Watch for the right turn up Hells Hoogte after you pass the Merc and VW dealers.
- Over the Pass and down through Pniel, pass Boschendal, then turn right to Franschhoek on the R45. This is a 50-minute drive.
- As you enter Franschhoek, the R45 runs via Huguenot Street (the main street running through the town).
- Take a left turn into Uitkyk Street and there is a Gable Manor sign on the corner and a sign to Chamonix Wine Farm. These signs are opposite the new Spar shopping centre and before the BP petrol station. Beyond 2 stop streets, turn left into Malherbe Street. We are the 2nd house on the left.
- From Villiersdorp, proceed through Franschhoek on Huguenot Street.
- When you pass the BP petrol station and the Spar, turn right into Uitkyk Street.
Please park in the parking bays provided in the driveway.
