Cancellation policy :
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged ZAR 650.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Due to its great location, guests of the hotel can explore the Simonsberg Mountains on foot or bicycle. Play a round of golf on the nearby golf course or discover Jonkershoek Nature Reserve. Other places of interest are the Art Musea, the Cheese Factory and numerous wine estates. Activities possible in close proximity to the hotel include whale watching, shark cage diving and visiting a crocodile or cheetah farm.
Travel information :
By car:
- Driving on the N1, take the Stellenbosch and Klipheuvel turn-off to your
left.
- Turn right at the T-junction.
- Continue for approximately 15 minutes, past the first set of traffic
lights.
- Pass the 2nd set of traffic lights and, at the Seven Eleven, turn left at
the traffic lights.
- Turn right onto Helshoogte Pass at the next set of traffic lights.
- Continue on this road until you can see Simons Rust (Spar) to your
right and Idas Valley to your left.
- Cross the traffic lights and continue for about 1 km, until you see 2
white poles on your right-hand side.
- This is the entrance to the estate.
- Follow the N2 in the direction of Somerset West.
- Take the R310 turn-off at Baden Powell Dr and Stellenbosch and turn
left.
- Continue for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Once in Stellenbosch, drive past Spier Wine Estate to your right.
- Continue until you get to the intersection (Polkadraai Rd.).
- Turn right and continue straight ahead on the left lanes.
- Turn left onto Adam Tas Rd. at the 3rd set of traffic lights.
- Pass Eikestad & Stellenbosch Motors on your left-hand side and
cross over the intersection (with traffic lights).
- Turn right onto Helshoogte Pass at the next set of traffic lights.
- Continue on this road until you can see Simons Rust (Spar) to your
right and Idas Valley to your left.
- Cross the traffic lights and continue for about 1 km, until you see 2

- This is the entrance to the estate.
