At the Casa del Cofrade hotel we offer our guests accommodation in either a double or single room, continental breakfast, visit round the "Bodega" winery and option of lunch or supper for groups of minimum 12 (pre-booked only)

Quick description :
This newly built hotel is the first hotel to be located within the premises of the winery “Bodegas Vinícola Real” in La Rioja. The hotel boasts 18 rooms, tastefully decorated in a cosy modern/rustic style. Each room has been given a name taken from the “Códice Albeldense” manuscript, written in the San Martín Monastery back in the 10th century. The hotel can arrange visits round the winery.
Cancellation policy :
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 28.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable.
Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 9.10 per person.
Parking: Free public parking is possible at a location nearby.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
Food & beverage :
The hotel provides its' guests with an ample continental breakfast in its cafeteria overlooking the Iregua Valley.
We can also organise lunches or dinners in the Winerys' impressive dinning room.For groups of minimum 12, set menu and on prior arrangement only.
Area information :
The Casa del Cofrade is located in the Albelda de Iregua, a town renowned for its vegetable gardens, cured meats and the Iregua Valley.
Things to do:
- Along the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage route you can visit other towns and cities, such as: Logroño the capital of the La Rioja region, it has an interesting historical centre and streets famous for Tapas, Nájera (a medieval legacy) where you can visit the Santa Maria la Real Monastery and Santo Domingo de la Calzada with its Cathedral and viewpoint where you can stop and admire the surroundings.
- You could also visit the different monasteries in the region, like Yuso y Suso Monastery in San Millán de la Cogolla, the birth place of the Spanish language, Valvanera or Abadía Cisterciense in Cañas.
-Rioja Alta: A good route to do for visiting museums and wineries includes the towns and cities Fuenmayor, Cenicero, Briones, San Vicente de la Sonsierrra and Haro.
- In the Sierra: you can visit Los Cameros: Torrecillas, El Rasillo, Ortigosa en Cameros and the Natural Park Sierra de Cebollera en Villoslada en Cameros.
- You can also do activities like bike riding, hiking, archery, horse riding, hot-air ballooning, quad bikes etc in the local area.
Travel information :
Once you have reached Logroño you should take the N-111 road (Soria), 13km along this road you will see a sign that says “Albelda de Iregua” you want go to the centre of this town and once take the direction of “Nalda”. Our establishment is just as you leave on the outskirts of this town, you will see a stone building with two turrets – this is us.
