The hotel has a rich history, beginning with a splendid inauguration hosted by King Oscar in 1893. KA Wallenberg was a visionary who turned his dream into a reality after a trip to Monte Carlo. Saltsjöbaden was to become the prefect recreational site for a modern society, an oasis to return to in summer, winter, spring or autumn.
The railway from Stockholm was also built at that time to provide hardworking Stockholm residents with a fast route to the seaside and the fresh salty air of Saltsjöbaden.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged SEK 110.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged SEK 300.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs SEK 120.00 per hour.

Dinner is served Sunday to Thursday from 17:00 till 21:00, Friday and Saturday from 17:00 till 22:00.
Room service is available between 07:00 and 22:00.
