Cancellation policy :
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 6 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 4.

There is a homely atmosphere in our public café-bar, the meeting-place for locals, who, over some wholesome fare from our own farm, a beer or a glass of wine, even let themselves get involved occasionally in a down-to-earth conversation with a „lowlander“.
Derby-Stube
In the Derby dining-room (80 seats), rounded arches and an open fireplace in particular convey to the hotel guests a feeling of cosiness and well-being. After you have spent an unforgettable day in the mountains, we will serve you a delicious five-course menu.
Föhrenstube
That there should be a touch of luxury in the service you get in the Föhrenstube is pure intention! The decidedly sophisticated à la carte restaurant offers yu a subtly refined ambience. Let yourself be spoiled for once! Even connoisseurs have a right to a special experience.

The hotel bar on the ground floor is a popular place to meet and exchange ideas, this winter with Melanie again!

Grindelwald is easily and quickly reached by air, road and rail.
Once you have arrived in Grindelwald, the hotel is easy to find. It lies in the centre of the village next to the little terminus rail station.
